👋 Hey there and welcome back to Product Hunt Dev (formerly WeirdWideWeb).

TOP LAUNCH

“For you” made easy

Picture this: You’re running an e-commerce, marketplace, or content site and you get a new tool. All have to do is plug your data in, and within minutes, that tool will start fine-tuning a multi-modal neural model that shapes your raw data into tabular, language, image, or video embeddings. Within hours, you’ve got a ready model that you can use to run highly relevant recommendations and search features on your site or in your app.

That tool is called Shaped. The team behind the startup says it’s making the same personalized AI that’s powering big tech (think "For You" feeds, recommendations, and search) accessible to any business.

There are a couple of things that set Shaped apart, according to its founders. One is its ability to update suggestions in real time, adapting to each user's interactions to keep content relevant and engaging. The other is that it was designed with developers in mind. Unlike Algolia Recommend or AWS Recommend, for instance, to get started on Shaped you just need to use the declarative SQL API to specify where your data is, who you want to personalize for, and what items you want to be ranked. Meanwhile, “[s]etting up Algolia, is basically like setting up a CMS. [Y]ou need to manage all the data engineering work to keep your catalogs of items and users in sync. Feeding real-time events is error-prone as you’re required to manually push them through an SDK, which is disconnected from your data stack.”

The launch of Shaped comes timed with the announcement of its $8M Series A. The startup is founded by Tullie Murrell and Daniel Camilleri, industry veterans from Meta and Uber.

You want those enterprise customers, but are you ready for them?

The building blocks to become Enterprise Ready are already here, through WorkOS. It's a modern identity platform built for B2B SaaS companies, with flexible and easy-to-use APIs to meet the needs of enterprise customers faster.

WorkOS brings a modular approach to B2B auth, with enterprise features like SSO, SCIM, and User Management. The APIs are designed to provide an effortless experience from your first user through to your largest customer.

It's free for up to 1 million MAUs and hundreds of high-growth scale-ups like Vercel, Webflow, and Loom are already using WorkOS.

PRODUCT HIGHLIGHT

Create videos with code

Creators and marketers have been given a ton of new video editing tools over the last few years — but what about devs?

Enter Revideo, an open-source framework for programmatic video editing. Revideo lets you create video templates in Typescript and render them with dynamic inputs through an API. The Player component lets you preview your projects in the browser and integrate video editing functionality into web apps. The renderer is built on top of the WebCodecs API, “making video exports super fast.” For faster rendering speeds in production, you can also parallelize rendering across multiple AWS Lambda workers.

The team has also created some templates to help get you started here.
